MEDF was established as a result of the cooperation of MCIC and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1998, in a time of increased unemployment, search for new employment and self-employment, and in conditions of difficult access to microcredit sources in the banking sector. MEDF's vision is increased employment, reduced poverty and established social cohesion and its mission is to support the development of small enterprises.
