Seminar: Practical measures to protect personal data

Today more than ever, protecting personal data is a top priority for any modern business. Just a month ago, we celebrated four years since the EU officially implemented the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), also known to many as GDPR, which aims to facilitate and standardize the way of working in this area of cyber security.

In this regard, INOBRIDGE Business Innovation Center and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PCPD) invite you to a two-hour seminar dedicated to improving the competencies and skills of employees when implementing GDPR policies in their business or organization.

The main actor in the seminar will be Mrs. Nataliya Nikolova - head of the "Legal-normative activity" department at the CPLD. Ms. Nikolova started working at CPLD in 2012, as a junior expert in the "Legal opinions and international cooperation" department. As part of her official duties, she participated in the preparatory groups of the Council of the EU on the file of the General Regulation on data protection until its adoption in 2016. He has experience in the field of transport, forwarding and customs legislation. In the period 2018-2020, she was a personal data protection consultant and performed the functions of a data protection officer in a private company.

The international project ENGINE - Cybersecurity for European SMEs will also be presented during the event, which aims to increase the competitiveness of European SMEs by providing them with the necessary skills to protect themselves from cyber attacks and to stimulate the use of the so-called blockchain technology in SMEs.
