Les Cultures Aps – Laboratorio di cultura internazionale

Les Cultures Aps is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1993 in Lecco, Italy, by founders from different countries. It establishes itself as a „laboratory of international culture“ whose mission is to promote a society free from prejudice, poverty and discrimination, and to transform cultural, political and identity borders into points of encounter and dialogue. Its activities are based on values such as equal rights, respect for diversity, solidarity and social justice, realized through transparent governance and partnerships on an equal footing.

The organization works in several key areas: socio-cultural integration of migrants, protection of rights, development of international cooperation and cultural promotion. Les Cultures develops and implements projects in Italy, Niger, Mali, Ghana and Ukraine in the fields of education, health, support for local economic activities and food security. In parallel, it organizes language courses, festivals (including Immagimondo – a festival of travel, places and cultures), public lectures, film screenings and publishing initiatives aimed at building a more open and inclusive society and at promoting responsible and sustainable tourism.
