The Children's Environmental School is a non-governmental organization for the environment and education. It is set up in 1989 and was run by young people looking for a way to get to know the environment better, to learn for themselves, and to help others better integrate into and feel responsible for the environment. Gradually, the Children's Environmental School has grown into an organization whose activities are aimed at improving the school and the education system. The BVS pursues this goal by promoting the inclusion of environmental education in schools.
